On June 1st, 2021, my boyfriend, Kelvin, and I left our one-bedroom apartment in Queens, NY and decided to embark on an all-American Road Trip, with the goal being to hit all 50 states within two years.

I hadn’t visited many other states outside of the eastern tri-state area, so this was our opportunity to leave our native NYC and get to know America. This blog is my way of documenting this beautiful and exciting journey, both for my teenage self, whose dream it was to manage a cool website of her travel adventures, as well as for the special folks back home. My hope is that, like for 13 year old Sol, you find this to be a source of inspiration and connection.
